today, i finally figured out why i hurt.

people say that when you love someone so much, it hurts.
i believe i have finally found my true meaning of that today.
i hurt because i love you.
i have trust in you.
i fear you.
i want to make sacrifices and sacrifice myself for you and your sake.
i will gladly hurt for you.
i will gladly give everything to you.

i have placed my heart in the palms of your hands

i trust you will guard it, my Rabb.

and when you deem it fit, you will place my heart in the hands of he who

deserves me.

i trust you are guarding my heart.

everyone says love hurts, but that is not true.
loneliness hurts. rejection hurts. losing someone hurts. envy hurts.
everyone gets these things confused with love, but in reality,
love is the only thing in this world that covers up all the pain
and makes someone feel wonderful again.
love is the only thing in this world that does not hurt.
